The rediscovery of the Shang began with the discovery of the ventral shells, which could be used to make traditional Chinese medicine. The family notices some strange characters on the shells. Historians have argued whether the tale is true about the first collector of the shells which called oracle bones. Intellectuals were calling China to embrace Western science and philosophy. They trained a generation of Chinese archaeologists. The earliest digs focused on retrieving oracle bones. They are heavy with descriptions of sacrifices. Used bones are to verify whether or not the event would occur. Turtle’s plastrons or cattle scapulas are leaned and treated. It was to provide a flat surface for writing by drilling notches into the back. It often carved into the object, along with the original divination statement. The oracle bones refer to persons who appear in historical texts. It tracked back more than the end of the Shang era.

Reality television, dominating the tube right now, is about the behaviour of real people in real environment. It shows people getting insulted or humiliated. However, reality shows are popular with viewers. The ironies of reality shows are unreal. They are also cheap to produce and profitable. It erases the boundaries between the public and the private. Reality shows can still surprise to the viewers. Money earn from such shows will be dwarfed by the long-term damage. Some reality television people called it unscripted drama. It will always have a place in television, as reality shows may be a new way to tell a story. However, its future prospects are dim. When producers are out of ideas, the viewers will get bored. If not they will have competition in other forms of programming in the future. (125 words)

Current approaches to environmentalism do not work because despite years of warnings, American carbon emissions continue to grow. They would not engage in the Kyoto Protocol, an international effort to bring carbon emissions under some control. They are having trouble meeting their reduction targets. Job of environmentalism is to cure effects. You can afford the catalytic converter if you are rich. Economic growth is built on the use of fossil fuels. The fuels that gave us our growth now threaten our civilisation. China, the way to spur economic growth is by burning more fossil fuel. Conceded that carbon dioxide is the one major environmental contaminant for which no study has ever found any indication of improvement as living standards rise. The number of people in an average home continues to fall, but efficient furnace or air-conditioner struggles to heat or cool such a giant space. We could use the bus, or a bike for daily transportation.

Dear Mrs Menon
Choice of Facilities for the students
I am Ang Zhan Phung a senior student from class 4E3. Regarding the new building in this school, I am here to give my views on the three buildings. I think that having a multi-purpose sports hall, including an indoor swimming pool would benefit the student and members of the community.
Having a multi-purpose sports hall will greatly benefit the student. It will encourage more pupils to exercise in the new sports hall. This multi-purpose hall could remain open after school hours and weekend for the use by members of the public. The swimming pool could also be use when pupils are having their physical education and help them to build up their body. Therefore, multi-purpose hall is a choice for the school to build.
A theatre and concert hall could hall could also be a choice for the school. However, it could only be used for drama groups and musicians for the school. Although, community can host shows and combined events but not many student would use the theatre and concert hall. Therefore, theatre and concert hall does not benefit most of the students. A multi-media resource centre does not benefit much of the students. Although the training opportunities and digital resource library or even a cyber café can benefit the young and old but not many students will be interested in multi-media resource centre.
Moreover, a multi-purpose hall is a great choice for both the students and community to enjoy and learn. Hence, I hope that you would take my suggestion into consideration.
Yours sincerely
Zhan Phung

summary~
According to legend, a goatherd found his flock frolicking about after munching on coffee cherries. He sampled a few and was soon gamboling along with his goats. It is food and drink for African tribesmen, coffee is sold worldwide. Coffee usually ranks second only to petroleum in dollar value in international trade. Countries rely upon coffee as a major source of income. Some people depend upon it for their livelihood, many drink coffee. A killing frost, in 1975, damaged half of the country’s coffee trees. 1979, Frost had again in Brazil. The loss of a single tree means the loss of income on that spot for the three to five years it takes to replace it. Producers and consumers agree that the only sensible solution is to limit output to what the market can absorb, plus a reserve, and sell at an agreeable price.
